 Heading off on a ski touring "dawn patrol" before sunrise allows one to witness the magic of the end of night and the promess of a new day as well as being overwhelmed by the mind blowing colors and contratst in the sky while having the space all for oneself, indulging the calm and the vanishing night wildlife (a fox trotting on the ridge of a snowy hill that morning).
